A mailbox is the account where a user's incoming and sent email is stored and managed. An email address identifies where a message should be delivered.

Mailbox, address, and alias
A mailbox has its own access and messages. An alias, where supported, is another address delivering to an existing mailbox rather than a separate inbox. For example, enquiries@company.ae might deliver to an existing employee, but you should confirm alias support and limits instead of counting it as a separate included mailbox.

Planning accounts for your team
Solo, Team, and Business include 1, 5, and 25 mailboxes respectively. Count the employees or separately managed inboxes you need. Confirm any shared-access requirement with Edara rather than sharing one password among staff. Additional mailboxes may require a different plan or a separately agreed option.

Messages use storage
Email and attachments occupy mailbox storage. A mailbox count does not specify how much space each user receives. Ask Edara about capacity and what happens near the limit; large attachments can make an otherwise quiet account grow quickly. Do not delete important business records without checking your retention needs.

When staff join or leave
Request new accounts, changes to access, or a handover through Edara under the agreed support scope. Before deleting a mailbox, decide who needs its existing messages and whether they should be transferred or retained. Removing an account and preserving its records are separate decisions.
