Email on your domain

Domain email uses your business domain after the @ sign. Owning company.ae and having a working name@company.ae mailbox are related but separate services.

   The domain and the mailbox

   The domain gives your business its name online. A mail service receives and stores messages for the mailboxes created on that name. Buying a domain does not automatically create employee mailboxes, and buying a mailbox does not remove the need to keep the domain registered and renewed.

   How messages find your mailbox

   DNS mail records direct incoming messages to the mail service. Other records may be needed to verify the domain and support sender checks. Edara needs the appropriate domain access to configure them. A website can remain on one service while email is handled separately.

   Keep the address when services change

   If you move your mail service, employees can keep the same addresses when the domain and accounts are set up correctly. Existing messages still need a migration plan. Changing where new mail arrives does not automatically copy the contents of old mailboxes.

   Protect business continuity

   Keep domain renewal and contact details current. An expired domain or incorrect DNS change can interrupt email even when the mailbox subscription is paid. Tell Edara before changing domain settings and test incoming and outgoing mail after setup or a move.
