Backup capacity is the amount of data covered by your backup subscription. Choosing enough capacity helps keep recovery coverage aligned with your growing business.

Choose a capacity
The published plans are 100 GB, 500 GB, and 1 TB. Start with the agreed files and systems you need protected, and allow for growth. Ask Edara how usage is measured for your configuration, including how retained copies affect capacity; do not assume a particular compression or storage-saving ratio.

What can increase usage?
New documents, photographs, business records, and additional protected sources can increase demand. For example, adding years of scanned documents may change the right plan even if the number of employees stays the same. Review scope before adding large folders or new systems.

Near or beyond the limit
Ask Edara for a capacity review and available upgrade options before space runs out. Capacity problems can affect future backup jobs. Confirm how limits are handled and any additional cost under your agreement; extra capacity and a grace period should not be assumed. Do not remove needed recovery copies simply to free space without discussing the impact.

Separate from your live website
Cloud hosting storage holds the working website; Edara Backup capacity covers the separately agreed backup service. Buying a larger Cloud plan does not automatically increase Backup capacity. Compare both services if your live data and recovery needs are growing together.
