Professional lists notifications that can help staff act when stock needs attention. Their usefulness depends on accurate inventory information and an agreed workflow.

Choose the trigger and recipient
Agree the products, stock threshold, and responsible recipient. For example, a store may want its purchasing employee notified when an item falls below a chosen level. Check that the connected source supplies the necessary information and decide whether the message is for staff or a supplier.
A notification is not a purchase order
An alert can prompt review; it should not be treated as an approved order unless that action is explicitly part of the agreed workflow. Staff should confirm actual stock, pending deliveries, and quantity before committing to a purchase. This helps avoid ordering twice after repeated low-stock messages.
Make the message actionable
Include enough context to identify the product and location and explain the requested action. Confirm applicable message and consent requirements before contacting suppliers. Test the workflow with approved examples and agree what staff should do if the data is missing, late, or incorrect.
Coverage and usage
Confirm supported inventory connections, notification rules, message allowances, and any custom setup with Edara. A notification does not guarantee supplier acknowledgement or delivery of goods. Review available workflow information and contact Edara when an alert does not match the source records.
