MCP is a standard way for compatible AI tools to request supported information or actions from a business service. Professional lists an MCP server for AI and tool integrations.

Why a business might use it
A compatible assistant could request supported product information or help summarize available orders without staff preparing a new export each time. These are examples, not a list of guaranteed tools. Confirm the available functions and compatible applications with Edara before choosing a workflow.
Agree access and boundaries
Decide which approved tool needs access and what information it should be allowed to use. Reading product information is different from changing a business record. Confirm supported permissions and approval steps; do not assume that connecting a tool grants all actions or that every action automatically waits for human approval.
Test a narrow task first
For a daily order summary, confirm the assistant can access only the required supported data, then compare the summary against the original records. AI may omit information or make mistakes even when the connection works. Review outputs before using them for purchasing, customer promises, or other sensitive decisions.
Connection scope and ongoing use
Confirm setup work, supported tools, and applicable AI or integration limits with Edara. An MCP connection does not replace a license or subscription needed by another application. Review access when staff or tools change, and ask how to disable a connection you no longer need. Applicable service and privacy terms still govern data handling.
