Renewal extends the registration period for your domain. Letting it expire can interrupt the website and business email that depend on it, even when those services are paid for.

Know the date and responsibility
Keep the expiry date and responsible contact in your business records. Confirm with Edara who authorizes and pays for renewal and whether automatic renewal is part of your arrangement. Do not assume an invoice, reminder, or available payment method means the domain has already been renewed.

Registration and renewal prices can differ
The pricing page lists registration and renewal separately for offered domain endings. Check the renewal amount and period before paying. A website hosting or email subscription does not by itself pay for domain renewal, and additional recovery costs should not be assumed to be included.

What happens if it expires?
Website access and email delivery may stop, and recovery options can become more limited over time. Any grace or recovery period depends on the domain's applicable rules; this guide does not promise one. Contact Edara immediately if a domain expires rather than assuming it can always be recovered.

Renew before a busy period
If your domain expires during a sales campaign, customers may be unable to browse or email your team. Review expiry dates ahead of campaigns and staff leave, keep contacts current, and ask for confirmation of the new expiry date after renewal.
