DNS directs people and messages to the services connected to your domain. Managing these directions is separate from owning or renewing the domain itself.

Which record does what?
A and AAAA records direct a name to an address, CNAME connects one name to another, MX directs incoming email, and TXT can support ownership checks or email configuration. Provide Edara with the records requested by the service you want to connect; you do not need to guess technical values.

Agree the change and access
Tell Edara which service is changing and which services must keep working. DNS assistance follows your agreed management scope and needs appropriate access. Before replacing records or changing where DNS is managed, identify existing website, email, and verification records so they can be preserved where needed.

Why people see changes at different times
Internet services keep earlier DNS answers temporarily. Some visitors may reach the old destination while others reach the new one until those answers refresh. This is propagation. Do not promise an exact switch time to staff or customers; plan and test the transition with Edara.

Website changes can affect email
If only the website is moving, its destination can change while email records remain in place. Replacing the entire DNS setup without carrying over mail records can stop new mail arriving. Test both the website and business email after important changes and report the exact affected address if something fails.
