Useful AI output depends on the information available to the specific feature. Understand the source data and access settings before using AI with business information.

What information can a feature use?
A reply helper may use a selected conversation or approved reference material; a reporting feature may use supported business records. Available data depends on the feature, connected sources, and configuration. Enabling AI does not by itself describe access to every file or every application in your business. Confirm each feature's data scope with Edara.

Permissions and user access
Review who can enable connections, run the feature, and see or share the result. Access to a source and access to an AI-generated summary are different questions. Confirm how permissions are applied for the selected feature; do not assume that sharing a summary preserves all restrictions on the original records.
- 3
Keep business data within the intended scope
Provide only the information needed for the task and keep reference material current. Avoid adding passwords or unnecessary sensitive records. This guide does not establish data storage, processing, or retention terms; review the applicable service and privacy terms, and ask Edara about requirements before connecting confidential data.

Check results before acting
AI can misunderstand a request, omit context, or produce an incorrect answer. Check names, totals, dates, and claims against the original records. For example, verify a sales summary against the sales report before using it to make purchasing decisions. A confident answer is not proof that it is accurate.

Sensitive actions need human oversight
Review output before sending customer communications, changing records, or making financial or access decisions. A suggestion and an action that changes business data are different capabilities. Confirm any approval steps and action permissions for the workflow; do not assume every AI feature requires approval automatically.
