API access lets a supported application exchange information with your business software through an agreed connection. It is different from the allowance used by AI features.

Why connect applications?
A connection can reduce manual copying between systems. For example, a supported workflow might pass agreed order information to another business application. Confirm which records and actions are supported; API access alone does not mean every system can connect or every action is available.

Plan access and limits
The software comparison lists Limited API access for Pro and Higher access for Business; Lite and Standard do not list it. Exact request quantities and restrictions are not published there. Ask Edara to confirm the access, limits, and behavior at the limit for your intended workflow before purchase. These labels do not define AI credits.

Access is separate from integration work
A plan allowing API access does not automatically include building or maintaining a custom connection. Agree the setup scope, authorized data access, and any development cost. Test a limited workflow first, including what happens if either application is unavailable or sends an update twice.

Review ongoing use
Ask Edara how to review connection activity and applicable usage limits for your setup. Keep an owner for failed updates and review access when staff or connected systems change. More API capacity does not remove permissions or the need to verify that important business records were transferred correctly.
